Did you know that you can make an impact on the sentencing of a criminal? By filing a Impact Statement you can help influence the punishment a criminal gets for his/her crime.

Just visit the Hennepin County Attorney website  click on your neighborhood, and check to see who is up for trial and file a statement on how that type of crime affects you, and your neighborhood. It's easy, and IMPORTANT!

One of the best ways to express your concern about crime, problem properties and/or for more police is to call your City Council person. In NE you have two main people, Kevin Reich in Ward 1and Diane Hofstede in Ward 3. Here is their contact information.
